My name is Isabella Nichols and I am 12 years old and have been surfing for 3 years. I love going out and surfing with my friends and my dad.

I’ve only been competing for the last 7 months and have made the finals of every competition I’ve been in including Parkos Grom Fest, Coloundra Grom Fest, Yaroomba Classic, Rip Curl Grom Search and Wahu Grom Comp. I love competing because it gives me a chance to meet other girls with similar interests but I’ve got to get used to dealing with the nerves.

I also like playing soccer, touch football and would love to try snowboarding and wake boarding one day. I like to relax by watching movies, reading and playing with my dog Millie. My goal is to become a professional surfer and at the moment I’m having fun and working towards that dream.
